WB For Sale

No matter where you look, people are selling their homes, but no one is buying. Why is that? And would someone explain why the only thing you see in the old "Drive In" parking lot is tumbleweed?

Why are people leaving West Boylston, and why is no one wanting to buy into this town?

Section 8 and 40-B Housing
If I remember correctly, 87 Maple St (Knollwood) was sold to the town as a retirement place for the West Boylston elderly. That is certainly not the case now - just watch the school bus stop there in the afternoon.

Does anyone know what is going on across the street from Knollwood?

Does anyone know what is really being built behind Wal Mart, and behind the RR Tracks on Shrewsbury St?

Does West Boylston need more Section 8 and 40-B housing (aka welfare)?

TAXES
This subject needs no setup -

Are taxes too high in West Boylston? Does West Boylston have the services the town used to have, like a dump, better roads, fiscal responsibility? Are the days of Ray Huntington gone?

Mandatory Sewers Only In WB

As you will find on the web pages of this site, West Boylston is the only town along either the Wachusett or Quabbin Reservoirs that has mandated sewer hookup. West Boylston residents voted 3 times against it, and won twice, before a judge overruled these 5 previous decisions.

You will also find on this site an explanation as to why mandatory hookup is a tax, and that if your taxes exceeds 2 1/2 percent, the town is in violation of Massachusetts law.

It is time West Boylston residents stand up to these arrogant town officials and tell them enough is enough.

What do you think?
