Mandatory Sewers Only In WB

Print the article

This entry was posted on 2/10/2006 6:12 PM and is filed under Mandatory Sewer = Prop 2.5 Override.

As you will find on the web pages of this site, West Boylston is the only town along either the Wachusett or Quabbin Reservoirs that has mandated sewer hookup. West Boylston residents voted 3 times against it, and won twice, before a judge overruled these 5 previous decisions.

You will also find on this site an explanation as to why mandatory hookup is a tax, and that if your taxes exceeds 2 1/2 percent, the town is in violation of Massachusetts law.

It is time West Boylston residents stand up to these arrogant town officials and tell them enough is enough.

It's amazing to think that WB is the ONLY town that requires hookup. Seems like if someone were thinkning about moving to WB and another town, they would choose the cheaper town to live in - ie no forced hookup.

I agree. With taxes as high as they are in this state, who needs another tax to pay. Interesting website. Didn't realize WB is the only town that mandates sewer hookup. Will visit this site often for more news.

Mr. Givan why do you continue to report thing in a away that promote you causes and are not researched. This will be my last response. People of west boylston wake up this guy has a personal ajenda that dose not take time to check things out as much as he leads you to belive. 149 prescott street under my ownership was a vacant lot. The lot was sold and a house built. Hence a different assessed value. Mr. Givens a person with less credentials than and engineer as your self could figure this out.
I am sure glad you are not in my service.

Every night of the week intoxicated individuals leave a certain West Boylston pub, get into their cars and drive right past the local police station,,,,funny the owner of that pub approves their contracts, promotions and pay raises
