Section 8 and 40-B Housing

Print the article

This entry was posted on 2/10/2006 6:50 PM and is filed under Section 8 and 40-B Housing.

If I remember correctly, 87 Maple St (Knollwood) was sold to the town as a retirement place for the West Boylston elderly. That is certainly not the case now - just watch the school bus stop there in the afternoon.

Does anyone know what is going on across the street from Knollwood?

Does anyone know what is really being built behind Wal Mart, and behind the RR Tracks on Shrewsbury St?

Does West Boylston need more Section 8 and 40-B housing (aka welfare)?

You sound like the supreme leader that this town needs. While you correctly acknowledge that Section 8 housing is of no benefit to the town, you also advocate eliminating two police officers. What is going to happen when more Section 8 housing (aka rif-raf), school choice (i.e. Worcester's rif-raf) comes to WB, which continues to increase, while you advocate decreasing the police department ranks. Have you been to the Wal-Mart lately??? Se habla espanol???

I think the lemmings should elect you selectman, eliminate police officers, and then change the police emergency phone number to your home number. Since you have all the answers, maybe you can respond to the Section 8 problems and other emergencies. Go ahead herr grupenfuhrer, show them how it's done!

Thanks for viewing this website. Since your comment, I have added many things, so I hope you will take another look. Much of the subject matter deals with taxes and the retired, the increasing cost of living here, and the town's new Master Plan. Again, thanks for your interest in this site and your comment.

The buying of land like that makes me so mad. I'm glad to see a community that cares. This has been going on in my neighborhood for far too long. The house that's in question is one of the first in the edition! It's just terrible!
